Holy Holy, i will bow before, My Lord and King, Hallelujah, You have come to us, you make all things new.
Emmanuel, Jesus Christ, you'll never let me go, My Shepherd King, your watching over me..Emmanuel... So amazing, you have named the stars, of the deepest night. Still you love me, you have called my name, and i will follow you.
Emmanuel, Jesus Christ, you'll never let me go, My Shepherd King, your watching over me..Emmanuel....
I love this song, its a great worship song.
Cant believe i actually look forward to working every wednesday friday and sundays. I've learnt alot since working in Life Bookshop, especailly the songs that i seldom hear, the books that i never read before. Learnt skills such as cashiering, customer service, accounting put into practice. Well, Its part of my learning curve =).
While working on wednesday, i saw several interesting people in the shop, one tat immediately came into my mind is this girl who lingered in the shop for about 2hrs!!?!? Lol, maybe 'linger' isnt the correct word, i certainly thougt so before she brought 3 books altogether. She was racing up and down the corridor of the bookshop, drawing the books out and shelving them back repeatedly, she read through some of them in slight detail, after 2hr of browsing, she seems to have found what she wanted. She's a university student, knew it after she showed her student card for discount, and of the 3 books, there is this particular book that have caught my attention: Single men are like waffles, and women are like spaghetti. Do we look like any kind of waffle? haha, well, its a book about relationship, that's why she's like so paiseh when she's at the counter paying for the books.
After she left the shop, the shop was quiet for quite awhile, no customers...so i was recalling about the book she bought, and went to the 'relationship' shelf to get the browsing copy of it and started to read abit. Didnt manage to read that much though, the book basically teachs us how to expand our social life and how to meet other singles, whate do i do when i am single again, and lots of socialling stuff... Haha, guess its hard to meet the 'chosen one' in life huh? Thats why people come up with books that teaches Christians to effectively end their search for one? I read another book, forgot its title already, the main idea is about how to find the God-given one in our lives... And one laughable thing i came across in the book is: Most every-week-go-to-service girls find that alot of every-week-go-to-service guys are wierd and Sissified, thats how untrue lahz... and they say that some guys seem to have lost something after they followed Christ, and thats their Manliness... and they ( the guys) will stammer and only dare to talk about God and nothing else, because they found it very insecure to talk to girls about any other things. That's prejudice. I found it irritating to hear that some girls told me that there is no gentlemen left in the world, they wld go on like: 50 percent of the guys in world are jerks, the other half are gentlemen, half of these are married the rest are either gays or handicap. It irritated me because, i feel that it's totally unneccessary to involve the handicaps and the homosexauls here... Its rude and insensitive. Secondly, i felt so sorry for my shepherd and the people in church, becuase they are certainly more than a gentlemen, for a gentlemen is merely
A well-mannered and considerate man with high standards of proper behavior. However
, my church friends are righteous and God loving, People loving group of great friends... They are more than just considerate, they are absolutely fantastic ( well i do agree we have lots of things that we must learn and improve on)! Well i do agree with some part of the book, like love is much about respect, and we should love our other half no more than we love everyone in the world, just that she is the only one who will accompany us throughout our lives, and the one that we are honestly prepared to make a life-long commitment to, i have also learnt that love is a devotion and action not an emotion, we just dun love someone because of the special feelings we have for someone, bcus thats called infatuation, it ends when that someone is not so special to you anymore. Correct me if im wrong. However it seems easier said than done bahz.. it is not difficult to have a crush on someone, but its difficult to wake up from it...
